Vice President and Director of Engineering
Tim Bullard brings more than 25 years of experience in high-tech manufacturing, process engineering, semiconductor equipment manufacturing and machine design to his work at Moscow Mills. Having joined the company in 2007, Bullard heads up engineering.
Since joining the company, Bullard helped design and retrofit numerous machines for specialty manufacturing and was integral to the installation of MMI’s 5- and 7-axis manufacturing centers. He was technical lead on the company’s Boat Trap Project that was developed in conjunction with QinetiQ, the Coast Guard and the Drug Enforcement Administration. In 2009, Bullard helped co-found Vibration Solutions North.
Prior to joining Moscow Mills, Bullard was a manager at IBM in manufacturing engineering and logistics. He was principally responsible for optimizing hardware and software of the automated product delivery track system in IBM’s Essex facility, saving IBM millions of dollars per year.
Bullard holds several patents for copper-wafer development in chemical-mechanical polish. He is also named on several more patents at both IBM and at Moscow Mills. He attended Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center, VT, where he pursued degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He completed courses at the IBM Management School in Armonk, NY.
